SIGNAL RECEIVED

You are not alone.

Building solo feels like transmitting into static. The Alien Nation is the community of solo founders and builders who found each other — Cody's got your back, and so does everyone else at the table.

THE PRIZE POT

$50,000 committed — and growing

Our partners have contributed credits and services to help the winners keep building long after the competition. 100% of cash from ticket sales and sponsorships goes straight into the pot — every ticket raises the stakes.

THE FINALS

The AINative Hack Champion 2026 Finals

Winning teams from regional AINative hackathons in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Detroit — some who competed in person, others who built and battled online — are invited to San Francisco Tech Week to settle it in person at the championship finals. They'll compete for the full prize pool: committed credits and services, plus cash from ticket sales and event sponsorships. Come build. Come compete. Come back the teams taking AI-native systems forward.

BRING YOUR TEAM

Need budget approval? We wrote the email for you.

Copy this template, drop in your manager's name and your own, and send it. It covers why the Summit matters, the estimated cost, and what you'll bring back to the team.

Hi [Manager's Name], I'd like to ask for approval to attend the AINative Summit, on October 9–10, 2026 at CODY'S @ Connections SF, 424 Clay St, San Francisco. The event is focused on agent-native infrastructure: how teams build, run and govern AI agents in production. That fits our plans for AI adoption and automation. Why this event matters Hands-on sessions with the AINative team and practitioners running agents at production scale An early look at agent infrastructure: persistent memory (ZeroDB), multi-agent orchestration, model routing and agent governance Networking with founders, engineers and technology leaders who are building agent-native products Workshops we can apply directly to our current AI projects Professional development value Learn practical patterns for building reliable agents, including memory, context management, human-in-the-loop approval and policy enforcement Understand the cost and performance trade-offs of running agents at scale Learn from teams that have already moved AI from pilot to production See where agentic AI is heading and how it could affect our technology strategy Event details Dates: October 9–10, 2026 Location: CODY'S @ Connections SF, 424 Clay St, San Francisco Format: Keynotes, technical breakouts, hands-on build workshops and networking Estimated costs Registration: $100 (Summit Pass) Flight: $400–$800 (depending on where you're traveling from) Hotel: $350/night × 3 nights = $1,050 Meals: $100/day × 3 days = $300 Total estimated cost: $1,850–$2,250 After the event, I will: Present a summary of the key takeaways to the team Write up the agent architecture patterns and best practices that apply to our work Run a knowledge-transfer session, including a working demo where it makes sense Recommend specific next steps for our current AI projects I expect the event to give our team immediate, practical value as we expand our use of AI. I'm happy to talk it over or answer any questions. Thank you for considering this request. Best regards, [Your Name]
